Dotty Nails

Treat yourself to a summer manicure!

Supplies

Base coat/top coat, two colors that look good together, and one toothpick.

The Dots 

• Paint the base color like you would regularly (Optional, run around like a lunatic to dry your nails)
• Dip the toothpick into the nail polish, leaving excess on the tip.
• Keeping the toothpick perpendicular to your nail, dot the surface. 
• Dot to your hearts content!

The Hearts (awww)

• Make a dot like you did previously, but as you are lifting up, pull down to form half of the heart.
• Mirror that shape to complete your heart.

Tips and Tricks

• Practice on a sheet of paper first before trying it on your nails. (Not that you would ever mess up or anything :D )
• If the dotted polish is still wet and you aren't satisfied with the created shape, you can use the clean side of the the toothpick to push the polish around a bit.

OMG First Post

^Well, of course! Sorry for being Captain Obvious there, but this is where it all begins! In a couple years I will look back and either go "ahhhh warm fuzzy memories" OR "what the heck was I thinking". Here's to hoping that it is the former. After all, if we were all over at WordPress this moment, you would only be getting the standard "HELLO WORLD" in overly enthusiastic type. You've gotta praise life's little graces.


So in case you skipped the entire first paragraph, here are some rules that I will try not to break on here...
   1) Post at least once a week.
   2) Don't overdose on emoticons. (You will just have to imagine my silly faces)
   3) Add tags and labels to each post. (For your easy browsing)
   4) .... I'll think of something....
